  We presently live close to USC and walk through it regularly to play Pokémon GO. We visited the university during its Solar Nights event. It was a good experience. The University did a good job. USC is a great place to visit not just for students. It has plenty of nice walkways and wildlife. It is a very nice peaceful walk in the evening.

  I attended this uni as a mature age student and found little support, inflexible and inconvenient class times, variable marking structures and a very closed off, inaccessible white male teaching team. There are often no options for online learning and the university seem to be completely unaware that students may have other responsibilities- like childcare or work. There is no online tutorials etc. Would not recommend for mature age students or women.

  Poor coordination of placements - if you do work placements at this Uni full time expect to have to submit 2000-3000 word assignmentswhilst you are also workingwithout pay your entire placement. Zero flexibility embedded for students that arguably discriminates against those with jobs and children. Only study here if you have absolutely no other commitments as they do not provide any flexibility. Recommend ANY other university over this one. Go elsewhere.

  Very disappointing. There is a severe lack of care and support, feel very isolated and feel that the uni is not interested in me. It certainly feels like I am waisting my time here. Classes are very boring and unengaging, teachers often can't correctly answer questions, most likely you will be advised to look elsewhere for that info. There is no point in class as it is just the teacher reading dot points of a powerpoint slide, covering topics that were in the book just in a shorter form. there is no development of ideas, concepts, or understanding. They reuse old powerpoints, stuff from 2018-19. Lack of help with assignments, I have reached out (via email as if you ask in class they will answer but not really and try quickly move on) and have been told literally 'I cannot help with the course content'. And that is that no more help or effort to resolve my issue, so i am left alone. Student help services are unhelpful. they give us studiosity which doesn't provide much more than checking grammar as again these guys can't help with course content. Then there are learning advisors who provide the same thing just less accessible with a 20 minute time limit. also, these advisors are just random members of faculty and have no knowledge of your course, so they can't really help when it comes to a field specific topic. I had a recent session in which the person spent 10 minutes reading the task sheet, looked at my assignment (which was a draft) and said i needed to improves referencing and grammar, completely ignoring my question. When i tried to explain again my questoin her response was the same. Very bad uni, lackluster in every aspect. I came here very motivated and excited to learn, and while i am still interested in the topic that brought me here, coming here hasn't improved my understanding of it, I could have easily gotten to this level of understanding by myself. This school really has provided no value to me.
